A Conversation with EPA Administrator Michael regan

The Latinos for a Better Future (L4BF) Coalition invites you to join us on December 1 from 4 pm to 5 pm ET, for an important conversation with Michael Regan, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, about the climate and environmental provisions of the Build Back Better Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Please sign up to participate in the meeting with the following link: https://p2a.co/8ayuppp and join in the conversation through our Facebook page at December 1 at 4 pm ET at: https://fb.me/e/13f2eggiY

Joining us for the conversation is Mark Magaña, Founding President & CEO of GreenLatinos and Frankie Miranda, President and CEO of Hispanic Federation.

The Build Back Better Act represents the largest investment in climate action in US history, and our biggest investment in social programs since the New Deal. The legislation includes over 130 different investments in climate and environmental justice on a scale never before seen in Congress.

The bill contains substantial consumer rebates and tax credits to reduce costs for families shifting to clean energy and electrification. It creates hundreds of thousands of good jobs in clean energy from wind turbine blades to solar panels to electric cars. Importantly, the act advances environmental justice by investing in projects around the country, while delivering 40% of the benefits of investment to disadvantaged communities.

The Build Back Better Act has already passed the House, debate in the Senate is intensifying and we believe the next few weeks are critical for us to convey the Latino community’s support of this important legislation.

We hope you can join us for this critical conversation! Add the event to your calendar so you don't miss it!
